Family Fun Day
"The event started off with mixed weather that quickly cleared offering blue skies and some welcome sunshine for the visitors. Even though this often dampens the fishing, it did not on the day with around 30 fish caught all over 2lb in weight (a credit to Kailzie fishery). The junior star of the day was Jamie Porter (10), a new comer to the sport, who with Eoin Fairgreaves excellent tuition and manner, not only managed to cast un-assisted but also managed to catch three fish and land & safely return many more! The photos (which you can view here on our gallery) of day are testimony to the excellent management of this event for which Eoin and his team should be proud.
